William and Mary West both born in Georgia arrived in Kemper County between the years 1838 and 1840 (Kemper, MS--HH 1194 Img 161/170). The children on the 1850 census appear to be Nancy, John, George, Susan, Henry, Henry, William, Ellinor, and Lom West.

William B. and Jane West both born in South Carolina arrived in Kemper County before 1842(Kemper, MS--HH 117 Img 17/170). Their children appear to include Charles Drayden, George Thomas, Margaret, Elizabeth Jane, Polly, Sarah C., and Rufus R. West.

I also would like to know more about the West families in Kemper County.
