Treaty of Pontotoc

Was Lafayette Co formed from the land ceded by the Chickasaws by the Treaty of Pontotoc in 1832, county actually being formed in 1836? Or is it the Treaty of Dancing Rabbit Creek in 1830 ceding Choctaw land, as I have seen recently?
