I have information on this Johnston family. My great great grandmother was Nancy P. Johnston who married Jordan Holleman in North Carolina. Six Johnston brothers and sisters left North Carolina in about 1846 and moved to Mississippi by covered wagons. My Holleman ancestor came with the Johnstons in this move to Mississippi. Let me know what specific information you are looking for on this Johnston famiy. I have a list of the Johnstons that came to Mississippi. John and Catherine and Jordan and Nancy are on the list.
