My great grandfather, Abner Hudson operated the sawmill in the Clyde community. The Helen White Railroad ran into the Clyde sawmill. Abner bought out the Bynum Lumber Company. We have family that taught at the nearby school named Victory. I have pictures that I can share of the area. Abner and his wife, Charity Elizabeth Rawls are buried at Rawls Cemetery in Clyde, Lamar County, MS. My email is KatieKade@juno.com if anyone is interested in the sawmill.
