According to the book, LAMAR COUNTY, MS, CEMETERIES by Lou Anderson and Leonard Slade, Sr., there were no Bowers on the 1910 Lamar County Census. In Little Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, the following Bowers are buried: Charles Lavon Bowers, 20 Feb 1931 - 3 Nov 1981; FH marker, info lost [probably Mary Bowers, per LCH]; Columbus Bowers, no other info; Earnet (not a typo) Bowers, no other info; Elijah Bowers, no other info; Joe Bowers, no other info; Flowers marking grave, no info; Bradford Joseph Bowers, PVT US ARMY, 6 Apr 1915 - 8 Jul 1980. No other Bowers are listed as buried in Lamar County. Good luck!
