I have a picture taken around 1900 in front of the Pine Ridge Church in rural Lamar County/Sumrall area. There are 18 men in picture but only eight have been identified. They did not serve together in the same unit but all were in the Civil War and from the Lamar County area. It could be that they were having a reunion or they attended this church together. The people identified are Raiford Russell, Daniel Grantham Sr. & Jr., Cager Courtney, Austin Sanderson, Huey Graham, Howell Grantham and Ebenezer Grantham. If your ancestor was in the Civil War, from the Lamar County/Sumrall area, or attended this church he could be in this picture. I'll be glad to send you a scanned copy. I would really like to have all identified.
