Looking for a record of a marriage between Hiram NICHOLS or NICHOLAS to a woman named Elizabeth, possibly in Lauderdale co. MS prior to 1840. Hiram appears on the 1840 census with a woman age 15 to 20 in his household, which is probably his wife Elizabeth. They appear on the 1850 census with their children Martha, Lydia, Mary, Simon, and Elizabeth. By 1860 the family had moved to Newton co. MS. Thanks for any help.
