Am searching for information regarding Zadock Murray Marcy in Lauderdale County. I beleive that he came to lauderdale County along with his children after 1852. His wife was Elitha Shackleford Marcy, they lived in Onslow county, NC until 1852. Elitha died either before he left North Carolina or in Mississippi, have been unable to find out when or where she died. He married Rebecca Tilman on May 27, 1860 in Lauderdale County. I also found where a Z M Marcy married Mary E Lacey on January 25, 1866 in Lauderdale county. Would anyone know anything about these folks? Would appreciate any information you may have. Thank you.
