I'm searching for info on my Ward family in or around Lauderdale Co. Specifically Elisha (1852-1926) who was in Whynot at one time (my grandfather William Churchwell Ward - his son) was born in Whynot in 1890. Elisha's first wife was Alice Hagewood, whose info I also seek. Elisha's father was Daniel Ward, on whom I have no info at all except he lived in the Whynot area in 1860 -70's. The Wards also may have lived in adjacent counties of MS and AL, having traveled from N. C. area and Ireland originally years prior to settling in MS. Ideas?
