I am looking for anyone who might know this Frank or Francis Long family. Frank was married to Roxie Edgar in 1901 Neshoba Co., MS. Their children were: Lottie, Adam and they adopted two children: Anna Belle and Fred. This family are in the 1920 Lauderdale Co., MS census. Francis I. Long had a WWI card showing his wife as Roxie E. Long.
There reason being: I was given an old photo album that belonged to my great aunt Alice Terry Meeks. Alice lived in Kaufman Co., TX and was married to Joseph Anderson Meeks. (Alice has been dead for over 50 yrs.) The Meeks family came from Neshoba Co., MS and the Terry family were from Kemper Co., MS. This Terry family also had relatives in Lauderdale Co., MS ? Harriett Jones m. Aaron Jones. This photo album is full of VERY OLD photos and very few identified. One that was identified was a ROXIE EDGAR. I would guess they are mostly before 1900. These are tinplate pictures in this album also.
Also, please note, I found Roxie Edgar living in Neshoba Co., MS 1880 census with her mother, S. J. WARREN and stepfather M. M. WARREN.
