Yes, it is an early psychiatric facility, at least I guess that's what you could call it. They called it something else though back then. I just recently read a brief mention of it on one of the Lauderdale sites or on of the Meridian sites. There's info out there about it if you do some searching. I can only imagine what kind of sad place that was.
