James Luther "Bully" Bristow, 78, died May 14, 2008, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church of Guntown and a retired employee of the U.S. Postal Service. He was an honorably discharged veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed being with friends, gardening and sports.
Services were at Kesler Funeral Home Chapel in Baldwyn with burial in Campbelltown Cemetery.
Survivors included one brother, Glen Bristow (Irene) of Tupelo; one sister, Anna Ruth Bristow Parker of Nashville, Tenn.; a sister-in-law, Francis Bristow of Guntown; a host of nieces and nephews; special friends and caregivers.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Minnie Bristow; a brother, Ed Bristow; two sisters, Ella Bristow Christian and Charlie Bristow Watts; and special friends and caregivers, Louise White and Corey White.
