Bonita Hester, 54, died June 4, 2008, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. A Tupelo native, she was born March 11, 1954, to Luther Excell and Jimmy Lee Clark McKinney. She was a resident of Nettleton and formerly lived in the Mooreville area. She loved her family and friends.
No services were held locally. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors of Tupelo was in charge.
Survivors included two sons, Shaun Morton of Bloomington, Minn., and Camaron Groves of Tupelo; two brothers, James McKinney (Paula) of Tupelo and Terry McKinney (Jennifer) of Douglasville, Ga.; her grandmother, Dessie Mae Clark of Tupelo; two grandchildren; two nieces and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
