Gerald Wade, 67, died June 7, 2008, at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. He served in the Mississippi National Guard and later retired from the United States Army. He was a member of the Camp Creek Baptist Church.
Services were at Waters Funeral Home Chapel in Baldwyn with burial in Lee Memorial Park.
Survivors included one son, Judd Wade (Lisa) of Blair; one brother, John Smith Wade (Helen) of Tupelo; six grandchildren; the mother of his son, Mary Ruth Wade.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Doc and Jewell Smith Wade; two brothers, Billy Wade and Joe Wade.
