Kamby Cynque Ivy died June 9, 2008, at his home. He was born Dec. 15, 1980, in Lee County. He was a 1999 graduate of Shannon High School.
Services were at Mt. Zion Troy Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Mt. Zion Troy Cemetery. N.L. Jones and Son Funeral Directors was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included his mother, Linda Ivy of Tupelo; one sister; two brothers; an aunt, Diane Ivy of Verona; an uncle, Bobby Joe Ivy of Waterloo, Iowa; four nieces, one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Louise Keys Ivy, and two uncles, Mel B. and Jessie L. Ivy.
