Nagle Russell Ethridge Sr., 62, died June 28, 2008, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was a native of Little Rock, Ark. He was born on Dec. 17, 1945, to Horace Frank and Ruby Watson Ethridge. He married his wife of 45 years, Mable Lee Patterson, on April 16, 1963. He worked for 20 years at Penske and later was self-employed as a truck driver. He was a Baptist.
Graveside services were at Union Cemetery in Belden with the W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included his wife, Mable Lee Ethridge of Mooreville; one son, Russell Ethridge Jr. of Saltillo; one daughterm Tammy Lee Ethridge of Tupelo; three brothers, Vernon Ethridge (Frances) of Saltillo, Ruben Ethridge (Char) and Jewell Ethridge (Carol), both of Ecru; one sister, Patricia Kennedy (Kemp) of Dumas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Frank Ethridge Jr.
