Susan Furr Higgins, 42, died June 21, 2009, at Community Hospice at Darlington Oaks. A Tupelo native, she was born Feb. 16, 1967, to Donald Paul Furr Jr. and Mary Ruth Sims Furr. She worked in Human Resources at Aircap/MTD Industries for 16 years. She enjoyed life and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Services were at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with burial in Glenwood Cemetery.
Survivors included two daughters, Kelsey Higgins and Lexie Higgins, both of the home; her mother, Mary Ruth Furr of Tupelo.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Paul Furr Jr., and a brother, Donal Paul Furr III.
