The SMITH's, Greenwood and Itta Bena, MS

I am research my paternal grandfather's family. His name was Ollie Smith, born July 1, 1907 in Itta Bena, MS, LeFlore County, to Annie Cleveland and Wiley Smith. I just learned his grandparent's names: Sam Smith (born June 6, 1846, a slave on Craig Plantation?) and Cynthia Smith, an Indian. Evidently they had 10 children, but according to the story, some were by the white slavemaster or the store owner (?).
Their names (all last name Smith) were: Charlie, 1868-1950, who was chased out of MS and located in St. Louis, hd 11 children
Wiley, 1877-1945, my great grandfather, had 2 sons
John Travis, 1879-1963, had 7 children
Richard Lucas, 1884-1956, had 6 children
John Townsend, 1900-1977, had 4 children moved to Chicago
Mary Ann (Artila), 1885-1946, had 4 children
Benjamin Franklin, 1890-1954, no children
Zula, 1890-1954, no children
Gracie LeBertha, 1896-1985, no children
Ike, 1899-1993, 9 children.

At a recent family reunion, I talked with 2 cousins who were born on the "Craig Plantation." My gg grandmother, Cynthia, was supposed to be an Indian that the white man was "fond of." Does anyone else know about Craig's plantation in Greenwood?
