I would like to find Coggin/s in N.C. Area around 1800. Specifically Daniel G. Coggins, born about 1800-1810 somewhere in N.C. He moved to Alabama and married Martha Parker in Marshall County, Alabama, Aug 2, 1837. She was born 1808 in S.C. They are listed in Marshall County 1840 census. They later (1840's) settled in Holmes County, Ms.
I have records from Al. marriage and census of 1840 Al. Also, I have the family listed on census of 1850,1860, 1870, 1880 MS.
Children were:
Mary (Polly) b. Abt 1838, AL. m. Steven Brown
Eli b. Abt 1840, AL. d. Civil War 1862 Canton, Ms.
Martha b. Abt 1841, AL.
James C. b. Nov 1844, AL. m. Mary T.
Sarah b. Abt 1845, AL.
Daniel D. b. Abt 1848, MS m. Rebecca A.
Susan b. Abt 1853, MS.
George W. b. Abt 1858, MS. m. Carrie Propst
Census records show Daniel born in N.C. Trying to find Daniel G's N.C. connection. Anyone having info please contact me.
