Can anyone out there tell me what happened to Margaret Hall, the historic building at Whitworth College? It was once used as a hospital during the Civil War. I have a 1970 Whitworth annual that shows photos of it and an interview with a senior citizen in 1977 that said it was still there in that year. I am researching its role in the early history of Lincoln (then Lawrence) County, Miss. Any help is appreciated.
