RUPLE/Roppel/Ruppel/Rupple/Rupel yDNA Surname Study

The RUPLE yDNA Surname study has been launched as of 6/5/06. Anyone with these surnames that are direct male bloodline descendants (Ruple males) may contact the surname administrator at the following web address if interested in joining the study: www.familytreedna.com/public/ruple/ Two members have joined so far and we hope to recruit Ruple males from Mississippi. Let's grow our family tree together, find out who's related to whom, and fill in gaps in our genealogy!! Then we can do some testing in ancestral lands!! I look forward to your questions. Jack Ruple
P.S. German-Swiss records indicate that one Roppel imigrated to South Carolina in 1772, and older brother went to PA 5 years earlier. One great way to link those immigrants to descendants in the US is to do DNA studies here and in Switzerland. This is only one goal. We also want to establish relatedness of ALL Ruple lines in the U.S. If interested in joining please email me!!
