I have, Lorenzo Dow Baughan, married Parthena Thompson, 11 Jan 1831, Powhatan Co., VA. This is from county records. Lorenzo was also a witness to the marriage of Royal Wilkinson and Sarah Pitts. Sarah was a half sister to Parthena. Their mother was Sarah COX THOMPSON PITTS. The mother and Wilkinson's were living in Lowdnes Co., MS. During the 1840 and 1850 census. I never could figure out what happen to Lorenzo and his family until I seen your posting.
