I also looked to see if a Sarah Ellice lived in Marion County, Tennessee, USA, before the marriage to Georges. There is a Sarah Ellis, born the same year of the wife I mentioned before (1867) and her parents were James and Germimiah Ellis and her brothers and sister were: William, age 11; John G., age 8; Nathaniel, age 6; Henry, age 4, and Mary C., age 1 month. The father was listed as a farmer and the mother kept house. All of them were born in Tennessee. I found this information on the 1880 US Federal Census of Marion County, Tennessee.
