Abasha Cook died Apr 1883 at his home in Marion County, MS.
He was buried on his property adjacent to the home site in
a grave that is now unmarked. Other family members including his father, Henry, and unrelated people were buried there in what is essentially an abandoned cemetery called Scavlin or Dabney Hill Cemetery. Anyone wishing additional information may contact me.
