Dorothy, if you are convinced by the available evidence that Isham RUSSELL, Jr.'s wife was Elizabeth GILLESPIE and are ready to tackle the GILLESPIE line, I have lots of data on them. Just recently I found some new bits of vital information in Tryon Co., NC, Rev. South Carolina Audited Account and Rev. War Pension Application records.

Presently, I am awaiting delivery of Alexander GILLESPIE's indenture records from Philadelphia, a will copy from Cumberland Co., PA, Bounty Land Warrant Application from NARA and Audited Account copies from the South Carolina Archives. Still to go are orders for Land Grants from the North Carolina Archives.

Meanwhile, I continue to study the three young GILLESPIEs who appear to have accompanied Alexander from Jackson Co., GA to St. Tammany Par., LA and research in Jackson and neighboring Georgia counties for their parents.
