I am searching for information on David or Isaac Hennesy. David and family arrived in Marion County, MS in about 1815. David was the Paster of the Beards Creek Baptist Church in Tatnall County, GA. That church's records show that he left the church with a passport to the "Western Territories" in 1815. The first record we have of their arrival in MS, is the 1820 marriage of Isaac (b. 1803-05) to Judith Ann Gill. That document shows Isaac's father as David. Isaac and Judith had six children that lived: Nancy, Mary, Elizabeth, Cintha, Isaac Jr., and James L. I have absolutely no information of David. If there is any information (at all) on a David Hennesy in Marion County, please let me know. We have records that list Isaac's family as "Ennis" also. Thanks! Jeff Hennesy
