Charles Brigance, 66, died March 20, 2007, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Desoto in Southaven. He was born Nov. 20, 1940, in Mississippi to the late Jack Brigance and Ollie Mae Ford Brigance. He was a heavy equipment operator for Marshall County.
Services were March 22 at the family's home at on Clear Creek Road in Lamar. Burial was in the John K. Skelton Cemetery. Serenity Funeral Home of Holly Springs was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include two sons, Timothy Brigance (Lynn) of Pheba and Kenneth Brigance of Lamar; one daughter, Julie Brigance of Barton; his former wife, Connie Brigance of Lamar; seven brothers, Bobby Card, Neil Brigance and Columbus Brigance, all of Barton, J.C. Brigance of Southaven, Billy Holmes and Terry Holmes of Red Banks, and Doug Card of Collierville, Tenn.; five sisters, Dorothy Guess and Lisa Campbell of Barton, Debbie Bennett of Sardis, Betty Ann Henderson of Collierville, Tenn., and Regina Ruckle of Olive Branch; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
