Taylor Lee "T.L." Vinson, 72, formerly of Holly Springs, died July 11, 2007, at Overton Park Health Care in Memphis. He was a member of Golden Gate Cathedral in Memphis and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a retired brake mechanic for Campbell 66 Truck Line.
Services were at Golden Gate Cathedral in Memphis. Burial with military honors was at Cottrell Memorial Garden in Holly Springs.
Survivors included his wife, Gracie Alexander Vinson of Memphis; two daughters, Paula Vinson and Pamela DeShields, both of Memphis; one son, Kenneth Vinson of Olive Branch; one sister, Rolinda Hopkins of Cleveland Heights, Ohio; three brothers, Emmitt Vinson of East St. Louis, Ill., and Claude Vinson and Joe Vinson, both of Holly Springs; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
