Ralph Anderson, 55, died Aug. 5, 2007, at his home in Holly Springs. He was a member of Rising Star M.B. Church in Holly Springs, where he was a deacon and chairman of the Deacon Board, and a member of the male chorus and the church chorus. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was an employee of Quebecor World in Olive Branch.
Services were at Rising Star M.B. Church in Holly Springs with burial in Cottrell Memorial Garden in Holly Springs. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home of Holly Springs wass in charge.
Survivors included his wife, Barbara Smith Anderson of Holly Springs; two daughters, Brittany Rachelle Anderson and Amber Ashley Anderson, both of Holly Springs; one son, Raphael Barton Anderson of Holly Springs; 10 sisters, Carvella Collins, Robbie Jean Collins, Addean Cannon, Mattie Parker, Hazel Jefferson, Gertie B. Clayton, Tessie Lee Anderson, Kathlean Anderson, Gale Hughes and Jessie Balfour, all of Holly Springs; two brothers, John Anderson and Willie Lee Anderson Jr., both of Holly Springs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Anderson Sr. and Gertrude Richmond Anderson; and a sister, Vera Smith.
