Benjamin Wright was the son of General Marcus Wright. Benjamin graduated from the Naval Academy at Annapolis, and served as an officer aboard ship at the Battle of Manila Bay in the Philippines. He resigned his commission before 1900, and married Ella Daisy Lucas in 1900.
He died in 1903, a suicide, I think, and is buried in Holly Springs, MS. I do not know the cemetery. If anyone knows of this family, I would appreciate being put in touch with them. I will gladly share my information.
