HOLLY SPRINGS - Andrew Hardin, 90, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008, at Alliance Health Care in Holly Springs. He was born Oct. 20, 1917, in Marshall County to Ora Wilkins Hardin and Arthur Hardin. He was a member of Mt. Peel M.B. Church at Laws Hill. He was a retired machine operator for Cleo Wrap Inc. in Memphis and a retired farmer.
Services were at Mt. Peel M.B. Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Survivors included his wife, Mae Eunice Smith Hardin of Holly Springs; six daughters, Mary Ellen Harris and Corean Blackmon of Chicago, Gladiola McCoy, Delois Walton and Seraphine Lambert, all of Memphis, and Bernice Scales of Aurora, Ill.; two sons, McArthur Hardin of Holly Springs and James Michael Hardin of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; one sister, Savella McKinney of California; one brother, Rainey Hardin of Memphis; 21 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
