Services were held at McMillen Chapel on Nov. 15, 1946 for Frederick Dupree Oakley of Potts Camp, who died at Booneville on Nov. 14 at the home of his mother following a long illness. Burial was in the Osborne Cemetery. Mr. Oakley, 42, was an employee of the Krey Packing Co., and had been a breeder of fine registered cattle. He was a member of the Oak Grove Methodist Church.
Survivors included his wife, Warrene Reid Oakley; a daughter, Mary Louise Oakley, both of Potts Camp; his mother, Mrs. Mary Carpenter Oakley; three sisters, Mrs. F. L. Bryant of Fulton, Mrs. C. P. Hill of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Milton Waters of Booneville; two brothers, J. Bruce Oakley of Tupelo and Keith W. Oakley of Booneville.
