Hi! I'm looking for my gf's people. I believe they came from Rockingham NC to SE or S central Miss. abt. 1880. The family (or children) were named Williams. It is possible that there was a stepfather with another name.? My gf was named John Walter Williams, he had a sister named Mary. He was b. 1873 in Rockingham NC, so he would have been about 17 when he left home. He eventually married in Hattiesburg, Ms. Please help. Jane.
