Shadrack ROWE in MS

On census records before 1850, I cannot find Shadrack ROWE (born 1801 or '2 in Georgia) married a Sarah F., possibly GRIP (born 1808 in Georgia), and who in 1828 had a son, John T. ROWE, born in Alabama. Before moving on to Mississippi in about 1835, two more children were born in Alabama, William (1833) and Virginia (1834). Between 1835 and 1846 Shadrack lived in Mississippi where he and Sarah had 7 more children. This Shadrack (also spelled Shadrach) was apparently the son of William Rowe who was born in North Carolina in 1785. Does Shadrack or William appear on Mississippi tax records for the years 1835-'46? If local records or histories show this Shadrack or William Rowe, I would be very appreciative to have that information.
