What Indian tribes were in Mississippi in the 1840's

I need to know what Indian tribes were in Miss. in the 1840's.If anyone here can help me out I sure would appreciate it very much.I'm looking for some type of record for a person that was born about 1839/1840 in Miss. that was claimed to be part or full blood Indian.I don't know what tribe she was supposedly from.
