BOKEMEYER in Mississippi (1850-1860 in particular)

Looking for information on Any BOKEMEYER names in Mississippi, especially prior to 1860. My Henry and Elisabeth BOKEMEYER had a daughter Minnie who was born in or near Pass Christian, MS in 1857, however the birth was not officially noted until the family was in New Orleans in 1860. I wonder if the family was living in MS at the time of Minnie's birth, and if there were any other family members in the area at that time. Have found no Bokemeyers in the 1850 census to date, and although there are several similar surnames in the census, none so far found have matched up with Henry BOKEMEYER.

All BOKEMEYER inquiries welcome.
