hello looking for info. on parker side of my sweet funny grandma's family my gmother is daughter of william r.{billy }mclemore ,and eliza parker mclemore b.about 1877 in miss. mclemore's and parkers neighbors in maybe forest bark community in 1800's possibly calhoun county, her mamma was cynthia anne parker . father possibly walter our walker parker. i know only what gma told us before her passing in 1985 ,i was teen,boy how i wish i would listened better truth is though now that im older raising my family ,i know who i am ,now i need to know my kinship better where i come from. etc. for myself and our children
people nolonger live closely together {grandma's etc. }to share old stories and myths and traditions ,i do know my southern roots are deep. gma also wrote a bioghraphy of her life , growing up very humbly poor yet wise .
her book lets me go back to the good ol raw roots of the aftermath of civilwar and the toughness these ancestors had to learn to endure .
and survive. please someone respond would lke to know my line for my childrens generation, as well as my own .thanks from the norh beautiful alaska....
