Looking for info on James Thomas Jeffers/Jeffries, born 1801 in Union Co. SC, died 1867 in MS. He married Charlotte Dollie (?) in SC, last name questionable. Their children were: Osborne James, B.1841: Daniel B.1844: Elizabeth, B.1832:Mary Jane, B.1848: John,B.1846: Lee,B.1844: Louisa,B.1837: James Warren, B.1830 in SC:and Laura Ann, B.1831 in SC. James Thomas and Charlotte moved to MS about 1832, where the other children were born. Yazoo Co, MS, Claborne Co, MS, and Warren Co, MS, are areas they lived. Laura Ann married Preston Chavis on 13 Dec 1849 in MS. Looking for the buried site of Laura Ann Jeffers Chavis. Thanks!
