I am searching for information on a John L? Pounds, He was born in Oklahoma and moved to Corinth, Miss about 1895 and had a barber shop there. He met and married Idella Cooksey and they had 3 children, Felix, Parlee and Theodore. He was said to have died around 1907-1909. But we are not so sure. He was poss. Married before he married Idella Cooksey. She NEVER spoke of him after he left. If anyone has any information on this John Pounds PLEASE let me know. We dont have birth or death records for him.
