William McComb was born on March 31, 1826 in AL. He died on April 13, 1880 in Webster Co. MS. He is listed in the 1850 census in Choctaw Co. age 23, born AL. He is listed in the 1860 census, age 33, born AL, living in the Greensboro community. He is buried in the North Union Cemetery, Webster Co. MS. He was the son of John McComb and Francis (Fanny) Gore. Would like to correspond with any descendants of William McComb. Will be glad to share any family information that I have. Charlotte G. Boykin
