john nichols was born in 1845 in mississippi he married a lady who was born in arkansas in 1840, sometime abt 1865 they were in texas 1870 mclennan, tx. census has john, margt, and fannie listed. marguerite was a gollihar I am pretty sure the gollihars' moved to tx. in 1860 but I don't know if she met john nichols in ar. or tx. I just know he was born in ms. and later moved to tx.
