Dorothy Marie "Dot" Kirk, 56, died June 7, 2008, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born May 28, 1951, in Nettleton. She was a 1969 graduate of Nettleton High School and an active member of Palestine United Methodist Church in Nettleton. She was a former employee of Red Kap and a retired employee of the North Mississippi Medical Center. She enjoyed watching Paula Dean on the Food Network, collecting recipes and traveling.
Services were at Palestine United Methodist Church with Jackson Mortuary in Amory in charge.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, James P. Ruff.
