Betty Jean Ruple Bostick, 67, died Nov. 13, 2004, at her daughter's residence in Amory. She was born Nov. 24, 1936, in Alcorn County, Alabama to Ernest and Eliza Ruple. She married Haskell "Hack" Bostick on Dec. 23, 1955. In 2002, she moved to Amory to live with her daughter, Charlotte. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and sister.
Services were at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Belmont with burial in the Belmont City Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Tressie Ruple; one sister, Louise Humphres; two brothers, William Ruple and Hubert Ruple; and her ex-husband, Hack Bostick.
