Dow Cleveland Pate, 74, died Jan. 28, 2000, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis He was a native of Monroe County and a retired industrial worker with American Motors. He enjoyed gardening. He was a resident of Booneville for the past several years.
Services were at Salts Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Booneville Cemetery.
Survivors included two brothers, Travis Pate and his wife, Jackie, of Booneville and William Pate and his wife, Helen, of Winthrop Harbor, Ill.; one sister, Ora Cunningham of Zion, Ill.; one sister in law, Ophie Pate.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Dexter Pate, Fred Pate and Olive Edward Pate; two sisters, Bertha Thorn and Evelyn Nanney.
