Sibyl Waycaster Williams, 89, died June 29, 2008, at the Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center in Amory. She was born on July 1, 1918, in Monroe County to Cleve and Alma Goodson Waycaster. She attended Greenwood Springs Schools. She was a lifelong resident of Monroe County with the exception of living in Abilene, Texas, for a short period of time. She was employed by Glenn Manufacturing and she was a retired ward clerk with Gilmore Memorial Hospital. She was a resident of the Oak Tree Plantation and she was a member of the Amory Church of Christ. She enjoyed needlework and sewing.
Services were at the E.E. Pickle Funeral Home Chapel in Amory with burial in the Lann Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Leroy, Clinton and Harold Waycaster; one sister, Annie Easter.
