Thomas David Fullerton, 75, died July 8, 2008, at the Gilmore Memorial Regional Medical Center in Amory. He was born June 26, 1933, in Fayette, Ala., to Thomas Jefferson and Amy Caroline Hobbs Fullerton. He married Mattie Olean Jenkins in 1952; she died in 1977. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Amory and the United Methodist Men's group. He enjoyed reading, fishing and Mississippi State University basketball.
Services were at the First United Methodist Church in Amory with Committal services at the Bethlehem Cemetery near Fayette, Ala. E.E. Pickle Funeral Home of Amory was in charge.
He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents; one brother, J.C. Fullerton; and three sisters, Obera Forsyth, Bryan Burns and Faye Eason.
