Frances Adams Weatherly, 77, died May 13, 2009, at Gilmore Memorial Hospital in Amory. She was born Jan. 14, 1932, to Pete Adams and Willie Tate Adams in Aberdeen. A lifelong resident of Aberdeen, she was a caregiver and a seamstress for Sharp Garment. She attended Itawamba Community College in Tupelo for two years.
Services were at the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen with burial in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
Survivors included one daughter, Sheila Harvey (Michael) of Aberdeen; one son, Gary Smith of Starkville; two sisters, Mae Owen (Johnny) of Aberdeen and Gladys Hanson (Fred) of West Columbia, Texas; one brother, Walter Adams of Amory; two grandchildren, Sherry; two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters and brothers.
