Thomas Ray Pugh, 60, died May 29, 2009, at Pioneer Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was born Dec. 8, 1948, to Thomas David Pugh and Mary Helen Pugh in Fayette, Ala. He was a lifelong resident of Monroe County. He graduated from Hamilton School and High Forest Academy in Nashville, Tenn. He was an elder and clerk of session at Hamilton Presbyterian church. He worked as a medical technologist/EMT at Eupora and Aberdeen, and he was working for Dr. Brown in Aberdeen.
Services were at the Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel in Aberdeen with burial in Center Hill Cemetery in Hamilton.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Pugh of Hamilton; one daughter, Nichole Pugh of Hamilton; one son, Jan PUgh (Bryndi) of Hamilton; one sister, Tammy Bowen (Larry) of Hamilton; two nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Sharon Delane Marshall.
