HELLO, I HAVE LOOKED AT THE WHITE BLANCHARD DEATHS, AND DID FIND THAT RANSOM GWYNN BLANCHARD DIED IN 1862, AS AN 62 YEAR OLD ELDERY MAN. HE IS BURIED IN THE ODD FELLOWS REST CEMETERY IN ABERDEEN,MS. HIS BROTHER, W. A. BLANCHARD, BORN 1812, DIED IN 1860, AND IS BURIED IN ODD FELLOWS REST CEMETERY, ABERDEEN, MIS.
ANOTHER FAMILY MEMBER, J. T. BLANCHARD, BORN IN 1818, AND DIED IN 1862, IS BURIED IN ODD FELLOWS REST CEMETERY, ABERDEEN, MS.
ARE THESE THE BLANCHARDS THAT YOU REFER TO? 1862 WAS DURING THE CIVIL WAR. WAS THE EVENT YOU REFER TO DURING THE RAIDS OF THE UNION SOLDIERS?
