Mrs. Vivian Thomas, 73, died of an apparent heart attack on February 1, 1973 and was dead on arrival at the Gilmore Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Amory. She graduated from Amory Schools and attended Ole Grenada College. She married O. C. Thomas in 1919 and he died in 1970. She was a member of the First Methodist Church and the Amory Wednesday Musical Club. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Noman Green of Tremont. Services were February 3 at Pickle Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Masonic Cemetery.
Survivors included one son, Jack Norris of Amory; one daughter, Mrs. Jack Stuart of Morton; one brother, M. E. Green of Amory; five grandchildren.
